Telecom Plus began trading in 1997 and is one of the UK's largest and most successful companies, with a simple aim of saving its customers money. Originally offering a unique range of low-cost telephony services to householders and small to medium size businesses, a few years later Telecom Plus became the first company from outside the energy industry to receive a full licence from the industry regulator, Ofgem, allowing the supply of gas and electricity to the domestic market. This was a huge endorsement of the systems, management and financial strength of the Company.
In 2002 Telecom Plus launched ‘the Utility Warehouse’ a single brand to encompass all its great services, and now through the Utility Warehouse Discount Club, they provide residential and business customers with a range of essential utilities used by virtually everyone. They do not waste money on expensive advertising, and don't run any shops or showrooms; instead all resources are put into offering and maintaining very competitive prices for its utilities and services. But there is much more to the Utility Warehouse - in addition to its great value utilities and award winning customer service they provide other practical money saving products and services all aimed at saving its customers money.
